Lifeguarding* (15+ years old)     

American Red Cross Lifeguarding is ideal for people who want to work at traditional pools. The course teaches professionalism, patron and facility surveillance, victim recognition, equipment-based rescues, and caring for head, neck and back injuries.  25 hours for course + 10 hours pre-requisite swimming sessions.

Full Lifeguard Course:  Cost:  $125 – Includes certification, lap swimming, pocket mask and online e-manual. If you want a printed manual the cost is an additional $35.  Attendance is required to pass the lifeguard course.  Please check the following schedule.  If this schedule will not work for you, additional courses may be available in Logan, Lava Hot Springs or Pocatello.  2013 Lifeguard Course Schedule

Lifeguarding Recertification   Cost:    $60 + cost of pocket mask.  *Must attend lifeguard course skills dates and CPR dates to certify.   Includes lap swimming in January & February if needed.

Red Cross CPR/AED Courses: 
CPR for the Professional Rescuer/AED/Oxygen 2 year Re-certification:  $40 + cost of pocket mask.    Bring your own pocket mask or purchase one at class for about $10.
