Hadley House

The New Hadley House

This old house was once a Railroad house in Swan Lake. One of the daughters of the original owners moved the house to the hot springs and lived there for many years with her husband and children. In October 2012, the current owners of Downata Hot Springs purchased the house. More information will be posted as we get closer to finishing the remodel of the house. It is available to rent now. If you would like to be on a waiting list for this house, please call and make a reservation today. It is located across from group areas 5 and 6 and is on the main road coming up to the pool. The hot springs that feeds are naturally heated pool is located behind this house.
The House sleeps up to 10 people (fire codes will only allow 10 people sleeping in the house total). It has a kitchen and dining room with dishes and pans. A security cleaning deposit is required.

The master bedroom is an added on addition to the home and has a king size bed with a 42 inch TV/DVD player, roman tub and bathroom. The upstairs has three bedrooms. First bedroom has a full size bed, the second bedroom has two twin beds and the third bedroom has one full bed and two twin beds. The house has central air conditioning but the upstairs does not cool as much as the downstairs. There is a gas grill with the house rental, three picnic tables and fire pit in the back yard.

The Great Room has 8 twin size sofa sleepers ( maximum of 8 overnight guest total-no exceptions), 3 banquet tables and 24 folding chairs (not to be removed from the Great Room), 65 inch TV, DVD player, sound system and air conditioning. No Satellite or TV reception is available. WIFI is available with guest web key.

Currently the Hadley House (10 guests cost $250 and the Great Room (8 guests) cost $100. Starting July 10th, the Hadley House rate is $350 and includes the great room and house rental. If guests have already reserved just the house, they must pay the additional $100 to use the Great Room. Renting the rooms separate will no longer be available.

During our off-peak season, our master bedroom and bath can be rented as a sweetheart stay. The house and great room will not be included.
The section house picture was taken in the 1950 when it was moved to Downata Hot Springs. The house was built around 1905 and was located in Swan Lake Idaho and used as a railroad section house.
The picture below it was taken prior to remodeling it. The picture on the upper left was taken the day it was rented as the Hadley House.
