Downata Hot Springs minerals
The hot spring water bubbles up 600 gallons a minute at a temperature of 112 degrees. The hot water gravity flows to the pool through a pipe. The spring has a 40' x 60' concrete foundation wall built around it. The pool takes about 8 hours to fill during the summer months (cold water from a well is added) and 10 hours during the winter. Drainage of the pool is 45 minutes. The has a flow through system so the water is continually flowing in the pool and then out to the Marsh Creek for irrigation. The water has no odor and is crystal clear with a consistent PH of 7.1.
